Health & Fitness Part2
Allot of people are curious how i stay thin. this is part 2 where i go into deail of some health foods i just found and also some of my fave foods. update now vegan cause i m highly sensitive to da...

People Experienced in health and fitness please answer this question.?
I'm a 17 year old cross country runner high school . I look very thin. i wanted to get a little more muscle by body building. But one of my friends who has 20 years experience in distance running told me to stay the way I am. He said most of the muscle in my body is slow twitch or something which uses oxygen for distance running. It will be very hard for me to make them bigger and if I do succeed they will change into fast twitch which won't use oxygen so efficiently and my overall endurance for distance running will be reduced. Is this true? It's true that most of the distance runners are very skinny but there are a few muscular ones who have a lot of endurance like Alan Webb and Bekele. He told me there are some exceptional cases but it's best that I remain skinny. Should I stay the way I am?

Will i lose weight following this exercise?health and fitness experts plz?
i do interval runnning for 25 minutes 4 days a week. usually 1min 30 secs running and 1 min walking and repeat. after wards i do like 15 20 pushups and like 40 situps because im extremely tired after running and some pull ups some times. i eat kind of healthy. in the morning i eat yogurt in school a granola bar or school lunch when i get home a banana or maybe a sandwich or cerial and for dinner usually rice and chicken or plantains. i weigh 182 im 16 years old and 5 foot 10. 2 weeks ago i was 187 pounds because my metabolism was all messed up cause i never ate breakfest and had like 2 big meals a day and stuff. so do you think i will lose weight and how much do you think i could lose in a month and i also only mostly drink water with the exception of milk for cereal.i got alot of fat to lose not that much but around legs and i saw a little results the day after i started this exercise schedule and thanks

Any health and fitness gurus out there? Help?!?
well... it's not so much losing weight as it is toning my body.I'm almost 15, I am 5' 5" and about 125 lbs. So I am by not means overweight or fat I just want to tone some parts of my body such as my legs, arms, and stomach. Any health and fitness gurus out there that can help me decide how I should do this? Lately, I've been doing cardio for 30 minutes at a time once a day, and this is the first week I've done this, and honestly I don't think I can keep it up, especially when school starts back up. What should I do to... I guess I can say get toned If that makes sense? and stay that way?Any answers will help Please Thanks D
